Jewish Healthcare Foundation Brings Patient Safety Innovation to CES 2025
The Pittsburgh-based Jewish Healthcare Foundation (JHF) is proud to announce its presence at CES® 2025 this January in Las Vegas, where it will highlight its groundbreaking Patient Safety Technology Challenge. The foundation received a CES Innovation Award in recognition of its innovative model that encourages cross-disciplinary collaboration to advance patient safety solutions.
The Patient Safety Technology Challenge, spearheaded by JHF and the Pittsburgh Regional Health Initiative, invited over 700 teams nationwide to develop transformative ideas aimed at improving patient health. After three rounds of rigorous judging by 25 independent experts, the field has been narrowed to six exceptional finalists at varying stages of development.
These six teams will pitch their cutting-edge solutions live at CES on January 9, competing for a share of $25,000 in cash prizes funded by JHF. The Challenge highlights how some of the most impactful healthcare innovations can emerge from outside traditional healthcare settings.
